What happens if you're already losing weight after buying your wedding dress? If you're planning on losing weight after you've purchased your dress, it's not an issue. Even if you lose weight without trying! Given the time and space to plan ahead, we can make alterations that match your body shape.

Many brides only visit one store, try on 5-8 dresses, and bring along 1-2 guests. Of course every bride is different, but finding your dress doesn't have to be complicated. Keep it simple, research the store you want to visit beforehand, and really consider who you're bringing.

Most brides try on about 4-7 dresses, and we really don't recommend trying on more than 10 unless you have truly hated every single one that you've put on! Typically, your stylist will start to narrow down what you do and don't like, leading you to find your perfect dress.

One rule of thumb suggests that brides allocate ten percent of their total wedding budget to their wedding dress. So, if you're planning to spend $10,000 or less on your big day, wedding dresses under $1000 fit that budget quite nicely (and maybe even leaves you extra for the honeymoon!).

While you don't need to have your exact wedding look during your bridal appointment, having the right hairstyle will make trying on dresses a lot easier. An updo is typically the most popular choice for bridal fittings because it pulls your hair away from your face, further accentuating the details of the dress.
